He was always happy and always positive. When someone asked him how he was, he would reply, “If I could be more positive, I would be twice as good!” He was a unique manager because he had many waiters who accompanied him – from restaurant to restaurant. Soon after, I left the restaurant industry to start my own business. Our meeting ended, but often thought of it when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it. Years later, I heard that Raju made a big mistake one day: he left the restaurant’s back door open one morning and was caught at gunpoint by three armed robbers. Trying to open the vault, his hand slipped in panic. The robbers panicked and shot him. Fortunately, some people living in the neighborhood came to hear the sound of the bullet and immediately admitted Raju to a nearby hospital and also called the police. The police reached the spot and started investigating. After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, Raju was discharged from the hospital. On the other hand, the police came to know the robbers and they were given appropriate punishment.I saw Raju about two months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied, “If I can be more positive, I’ll be doubly good!” Want to see my mark? “I refused to see his wounds, but asked him what had come to his mind during the robbery. Raju replied, “The first thing that went through my mind was that I should have locked the back door.” “Then, after being shot, I remembered that I had two options: I could choose to live, or I could choose to die. I like to live “”Weren’t you afraid?” Have you not lost consciousness? I asked. Raju said, “The doctors were great. They kept telling me that I was going to be fine. But when they walked me to the emergency room and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I was really scared. In his view, I read, “As if they were thinking whether this man will survive or not.”
“What did you do?” I askedRaju said, “I trusted those doctors and the nurses and chose the option of living and positivity. And the result is in front of you. ”
Raju thanked his doctors for their skills, but I believed it was impossible without his positivity.
